Delicious food, a little bit complicated to find the place.
Enormous portions of *fabada* and its close cousin *pote asturiano*. On our last visit, with a Madrid-based friend, we had to walk for hours afterwards to begin to shed that heavy, heavy feeling. The food is good--great?--and the dining room almost always crowded. It is hard to find, as it's not at street level.
Fabada & Arroz con Leche of course !.
Without forgetting the Cabrales !.
You must go very hungry !.
Good food but the fabada is cooked with small beans not butter beans
Best pulpo I’ve ever eaten. Friendly and nice waiters.
The best place in Madrid for feeling in Asturias
Overated. Bad service. Mediocre food.
Yesterday, Tuesday night, after reciting in the same building one floor above, we decided to go down with a considerable group of poets to have a drink. Within our group there is a man with a hearing disability, which makes it difficult for him to listen correctly. One of the waitresses, to be more precise, a rather elderly lady, treated him in an aggressive and rude manner, to the point of raising her voice and pointing him out in front of everyone. This caused indignation among us, when I went to complain. His attitude was also quite violent with me. The entire group of poets saw that shameful scene in front of a man with a disability and decided to leave the premises.
It's a shame that this woman is facing the public.
We demand respect from everyone and that the person responsible see this note, so that this never happens again. It was an embarrassing spectacle in front of all the diners who looked dumbfounded at what was happening.
An elegant and welcoming place, with helpful and kind staff. We tasted various dishes with pleasure. My opinion is undoubtedly very positive
